DATA ANALYST - SQL, Spreadsheet programming
Requirements
- SQL programming - must have (preferrably MySQL Database)
- Spreadsheet programming - good to have
- Data quality assessment - good to have
- Predictive analytics - nice to have
- Data mining - nice to have
- Educational background - Must have background in engineering or a discipline with a strong mathematical background. A master's degree would be an asset.
- On-site presence is required.
The successful candidate will be detail oriented, will document his/her analysis in detail, and will be open to receiving guidance. We expect this pilot project with our client relationship to throw up several discoveries unique to this client. These will need to be documented. A candidate with the acumen to identify new opportunities or ideas that benefit our client will be appreciated. Candidate should be open to working under pressure on a client deadline. The successful candidate will also be open to adapting new techniques and technologies to client projects.

Probationary contract duration is 6 weeks. Longer term contract is contingent on project success and client delight.
